He is a little bigger than most Beagles, but he still lets all the little ones push him around. He is very gentle and loving. Abner just needs a new family. Abner is a Death Row Dog, graduated from the prison training program at the Green River Correctional Complex, in Central City, KY. He lived in a cell with two trainers. This is a 12-week intense training program that is designed for the dog's unique behavior needs as well as basic obedience, house training, crate training, and of course, tricks. Abner passed the Canine Good Citizen test prior to graduation. DRD dogs are very popular, be sure to apply early if you are interested in adopting. All our dogs are heartworm negative, spay/neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed and treated for earmites before they are placed in a home.
